I am a visual artist focusing in Printmaking media, as well as, metal, watercolors and installations. I became proficient with manipulating digital images, non-toxic techniques and the use of pliable materials. I approach printmaking with a contemporary vision and utilize the media in a three-dimensional way. I combine printmaking with metals, clay, fabric, transparencies and papers as a new way to engage in dialogue among these mediums, and to produce multi-media artwork.

MASTER DEGREE IN FINE ARTS M.F.A.
In my recent work, I am exploring new interpretations of nature through printmaking. Like different layers create dimension on a print, likewise layering is intrinsic to nature. I envision these pieces interacting with space and how the use of three dimensional media might enhance the idea of layers in nature.The repetition of elements and the use of photo transfer symbolize the connection of humans and nature. These photo images represent the interference of humans as a way to stamp their presence in nature. This, good or bad, is another concept that I like to explore. Moreover, my continual pursuit of dimensionality is related to these new possibilities. I retain the traditional elements of using paper as a printmaker while expanding upon my artwork in three-dimensional pieces.
