THE FEMALE BODY..

I make statements about the perception of the female body; its categories, social connotations and subjectivity. For me, the body is the axis

of our perceptions. We relate to the world through our senses, and our body works as a whole receptor of our experiences. It is vital to have an integrated vision of the body and the intellect. Although, my work contains interpretations of experiences of the feminine body, my vision is going beyond that realm alone.

NATURE...

I am more aware of the different cycles of the seasons such as the change of colors, the signs and changes of plants before it rains or snows, when it is humid or foggy; it amazes me that these changes were always happening but now I really see them. There is also a paradoxical way of looking at these impressions; the way I look at these singularities in nature, which are my impressions and the actual impressions/imprints created on the different kind of supports.

The beauty of nature, the process of change and renewal, sharing habitats with many species and also with us humans is what I am trying to reflect in my art.
